As your Birth Doula, I...

strive to help you create the most peaceful and relaxing birth environment possible
recognize pregnancy and birth as a transformational experience you will remember forever
understand the physiology of birth, and honor your unique emotional needs during childbirth
assist you and your partner in preparing for and carrying out your desires for your baby's birth
provide continuous emotional support, suggestions for comfort and progress, and an objective viewpoint
assist you in obtaining the information necessary to make good decisions before, during and after birth
help facilitate communication between you, your family and your medical care providers
help your partner / support person participate at his/her own comfort level
work with a back-up doula in case unforeseen circumstances prevent me from attending your birth

My Birth Doula Service includes...

unlimited email/text/phone support, as well as access to my lending library

2 PRENATAL MEETINGS : at these visits we will discuss your hopes, wishes and needs for your birthing time as well as your personal preferences for comfort and relaxation. We will review what to anticipate during the different stages of labor to best prepare for a healthy and gratifying experience. We will also discuss ways to prepare for your early parenting days.

DOULA SUPPORT AT YOUR BIRTH: I will be on-call for you 2 weeks prior to your estimated due date until the birth of your baby.I will join you at your home, hospital or birth center when you need my support. I will remain with you throughout your entire active labor and birth, and for about one hour postpartum.

1 POSTPARTUM MEETING: I will visit you at your home within the first two weeks after the birth of your baby.

The fee for my Birth Doula Service is $1600

$800 deposit is due when you hire me as your Doula

(unless other arrangements have been made in advance)

$800 balance is due at your Postpartum Meeting
