Postpartum Doula Service

I have the great privilege of providing compassionate postpartum support to a mother and her family during their "fourth trimester". Though an incredibly exciting and joyful time, life with a new baby (or babies!) can also, at times, feel overwhelming, confusing, isolating, and most certainly very exhausting. The "fourth trimester" is a time of amazing intensity and massive adjustments ~ physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

My mission is to gently nurture parents during this profound time in their lives so that they may experience greater confidence and joy in their new roles, and with their newborn baby.

As your Postpartum Doula, I:

  • offer a calm and nurturing presence, companionship, and non-judgemental support
  • provide guidance and help with breastfeeding and/or bottle-feeding
  • provide hands-on education with all aspects of newborn care
  • help with laundry, meal preparation, and light household tasks
  • help you discover your newborn's unique physical and emotional needs
  • "mother the mother"~ so that you can rest and recover from childbirth more easily
  • provide emotional support to help you regain a sense of balance and normalcy
  • share tips and practical techniques to soothe your baby and promote better sleep
  • help with sibling adjustment during this time of great change within the family
  • offer daytime hours (3 hrs. min) as well as overnight care (10pm-6am)

I am a Breastfeeding Counselor (NMAC) and an Instructor of "Baby's First Massage".

I have extensive experience caring for families with multiples, families with premature babies,

and families experiencing emotional challenges following childbirth.

The fee for my Postpartum Doula Service is $30/hour

($28/hour for families also utilizing my Birth Doula Service)

I am committed to providing support to all mothers. Extended payment options are available.
